I am Tamara Brown, a proud native of Colorado with a deep-rooted passion for early childhood education. With a career spanning over two decades in this field, I have had the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of nurturing young minds.
My journey in the realm of education began alongside my family, as we established learning centers that were an integral part of the Denver community. These centers, nestled in the heart of the city, have served as platforms for shaping young lives and building strong foundations for future success.
My devotion to early childhood education arises from the firm belief that it serves as the bedrock upon which our upcoming generations of leaders, shakers, and movers will stand. These formative years lay the groundwork for not only academic growth but also social and emotional development – essential attributes for building well-rounded individuals.
With each passing year, my enthusiasm for teaching and learning with children continues to grow. The energy and curiosity they bring to the classroom inspire me to cultivate an environment of creativity, exploration, and growth. Witnessing their progress and accomplishments is a true source of fulfillment and motivation in my career.
Throughout my six years at the Hope Center, I have witnessed the profound impact we make on the lives of our students. This experience has deepened my commitment to the mission and values that define their organization.
As I step into my new role as Executive Director of L’Ecole De Denver, my excitement knows no bounds. My primary focus in this capacity is to ensure that all our students find themselves in an environment that prioritizes their safety and well-being.
I understand the responsibility that comes with this role and am prepared to uphold the highest standards of care. It is my goal to lead by example, fostering a culture of vigilance, compassion, and proactivity when it comes to the well-being of our students. Every decision I make and every initiative I undertake will be rooted in the belief that their safety is paramount.
As the Executive Director, I will facilitate this by working closely with both our students and teachers. I will support our educators in implementing best practices and innovative teaching methods, ensuring they have the resources and training necessary to thrive. Additionally, I will engage with our students and their families to create a cohesive and supportive community that prioritizes each child's unique needs.
L'École de Denver's bilingual Pre-K program embraces and amplifies the flexibility and fluidity of developing minds, enhancing our young students’ innate ability to adapt to changing environments. Immersed not just in two languages, but in two educational systems, students at
L'École have the unique opportunity to learn two ways to approach every problem, no matter the subject, giving their growing learning muscles twice the exercise and twice the opportunity to understand. As they progress, they develop the confidence to select and apply those that work best for them, whether in the classroom or out in the world.
I am excited about this new chapter and the opportunity to collaborate with our incredible team, all of whom share a common commitment to our students' welfare. Together, we will continue to build a haven of security and care, ensuring that each student feels valued, protected, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Thank you for the trust you've placed in me to take on this vital role. I look forward to working closely with everyone to further elevate the standards of safety and care at L’Ecole.
Bonjour ! My name is Jenna BACHMAN. After 7 years teaching French immersion at a private school I am thrilled to be a part the wonderful and talented educators at L’École de Denver since 2020!
The best two years of my life were spent in between Dijon and Paris. Even though I am living here I can’t stay away from France! I take my family there every summer.
I have experience in tutoring French one on one as well as small groups. I enjoy working with children from 12 months old to 10 years old at the Alliance Française in addition to L’École.
When I’m not at school I am at home with my fiancé and my son. In my time outside the classroom I love to swim, read, watch movies, and spend time with my family. But my most favorite thing is travelling and seeing the world with the ones I love!
I can’t wait to share my passion of the French language and culture with our students. I am ready to provide your children with a solid foundation for a lifetime of learning!
À très vite !
Jenna
I am Johane and I work at L’École de Denver in PreK. I love baking, and kayaking during my free time. I am a student at AAS and also taking classes to be ECE certified. I love working with kids. They are adorable and they make me happy. I also like that our students have solidarity and are true friends. These kids have zero hypocrisy.
