I am Tamara Brown, a proud native of Colorado with a deep-rooted passion for early childhood education. With a career spanning over two decades in this field, I have had the privilege of witnessing the transformative power of nurturing young minds.
My journey in the realm of education began alongside my family, as we established learning centers that were an integral part of the Denver community. These centers, nestled in the heart of the city, have served as platforms for shaping young lives and building strong foundations for future success.
My devotion to early childhood education arises from the firm belief that it serves as the bedrock upon which our upcoming generations of leaders, shakers, and movers will stand. These formative years lay the groundwork for not only academic growth but also social and emotional development—essential attributes for building well-rounded individuals.
With each passing year, my enthusiasm for teaching and learning with children continues to grow. The energy and curiosity they bring to the classroom inspire me to cultivate an environment of creativity, exploration, and growth. Witnessing their progress and accomplishments is a true source of fulfillment and motivation in my career.
Throughout my six years at the Hope Center, I have witnessed the profound impact we make on the lives of our students. This experience has deepened my commitment to the mission and values that define their organization.
As I step into my new role as Executive Director of L’Ecole de Denver, my excitement knows no bounds. My primary focus in this capacity is to ensure that all our students find themselves in an environment that prioritizes their safety and well-being.
I understand the responsibility that comes with this role and am prepared to uphold the highest standards of care. It is my goal to lead by example, fostering a culture of vigilance, compassion, and proactivity when it comes to the well-being of our students. Every decision I make and every initiative I undertake will be rooted in the belief that their safety is paramount.
As the Executive Director, I will facilitate this by working closely with both our students and teachers. I will support our educators in implementing best practices and innovative teaching methods, ensuring they have the resources and training necessary to thrive. Additionally, I will engage with our students and their families to create a cohesive and supportive community that prioritizes each child's unique needs.
L'École de Denver's bilingual Pre-K program embraces and amplifies the flexibility and fluidity of developing minds, enhancing our young students’ innate ability to adapt to changing environments. Immersed not just in two languages, but in two educational systems, students at
L'École have the unique opportunity to learn two ways to approach every problem, no matter the subject, giving their growing learning muscles twice the exercise and twice the opportunity to understand. As they progress, they develop the confidence to select and apply those that work best for them, whether in the classroom or out in the world.
I am excited about this new chapter and the opportunity to collaborate with our incredible team, all of whom share a common commitment to our students' welfare. Together, we will continue to build a haven of security and care, ensuring that each student feels valued, protected, and empowered to reach their full potential.
Thank you for the trust you've placed in me to take on this vital role. I look forward to working closely with everyone to further elevate the standards of safety and care at L’Ecole.
Hello everyone! I’m Johane, and I’m thrilled to be part of the L’Ecole community. I moved to the U.S. with my family in 2016, and since then, my journey has been one of growth and discovery.
I’m currently pursuing my Radiology degree in college, and while that’s a big part of my future, my heart has always found a home in working with children. I’ve been with L’Ecole since 2022, and every day brings something new and exciting.
For me, there’s something truly magical about working with kids. They are full of imagination, creativity, and boundless energy. Each child is unique in their own way, and it’s such a privilege to help guide them, encourage them, and watch them blossom. Whether they’re discovering a new idea or sharing a funny story, I’m constantly amazed by the ways they see the world.
I can’t wait to make new memories with the children this year, and I’m excited to see what we’ll create and learn together.
My name is Tatiana , and I am excited to meet you and be your new French Teacher!
A little bit about me— I'm a French-American, born in France raised in Los Angeles. I graduated from Le Lycée Français De Los Angeles with a Baccalauréat in Social Economics before earning my B.A in Communication from University of Colorado at Boulder.
My passion for education and child development led me to work as a French Teacher’s Assistant for several years while also pursuing professional training in Early Childhood Development (ECE). I have completed certifications in Reggio Emilia, PDIS Colorado Shines, and I’m also a certified Yoga Instructor. While combining my love for yoga and working with children, I developed and implemented a Yoga Program at several private international multilingual schools. I’m thrilled to bring this experience to the students, teachers and staff at L’Ecole de Denver!
I have extensive experience working in classrooms with children of diverse backgrounds. Previously, I worked with K1 and K3 students at Le Lycée Français de Los Angeles and the International School of Denver, fostering a nurturing and engaging learning environment. My approach to teaching focuses on creating a space where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn —whether through song, play, movement, or hands-on activities. My goal is to support each child’s growth by nurturing their curiosity and confidence.
Fun fact about me: When I was seven, I rode in a two seater bubble submarine with my dad, exploring the underwater world around Catalina Island! I look forward to getting to know each of you and sharing new learning adventures together.
Can’t wait to connect with you all!
My name is Rania Ouamoussi, and I am delighted to introduce myself as one of the new teachers at your children’s school. I am 25 years old and recently moved to Denver from Paris, France, where I have lived my entire life.
I grew up in the countryside of the Paris region with my parents and younger brother before moving to Paris for my studies. I began my academic journey at Sorbonne University, where I pursued a double bachelor’s degree in History and Arabic. This experience enriched my general knowledge and allowed me to learn a new language, both in writing and speaking.
Passionate about geopolitics and international affairs, I later decided to enroll in a journalism program at the European Institute of Journalism (IEJ) in Paris’ 16th arrondissement. I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in journalism last November. My studies and experiences in journalism have provided me with valuable skills in writing, public speaking, information analysis, and teaching.
I have a deep love for learning and sharing knowledge, and I am fascinated by both contemporary and classical subjects. I enjoy discussing culture, gastronomy, music, travel, languages, cinema, and many other topics, which I am excited to share with my students in Denver.
I look forward to meeting you all soon and beginning this new adventure together.
We are excited to welcome Penda, who has joined us as our Pre-K French Teacher Assistant. Penda has been with us for three weeks now and has already brought so much energy and warmth to the classroom. She is from Senegal (West Africa), where the first language is French. Penda moved to Colorado in 2019 with her family and has worked in other childcare centers, including in infant and toddler classrooms. She is passionate about introducing young learners to the French language through fun activities such as songs, stories, and interactive play. With a strong belief in creating a positive and engaging learning environment, Penda is dedicated to making French an exciting adventure for the children.
Please also join us in welcoming Robin, who is studying Aviation in college and brings a love of teaching and working with children. Robin has always enjoyed seeing children learn and grow, especially in sports, and is excited to contribute to their development here. Having moved from Paris 12 years ago, Robin is fluent in French and enjoys teaching it to the children, finding joy in hearing them speak the language back. Robin’s enthusiasm for helping shape the future of young minds is inspiring, and we are excited to have them as part of our team!
